Salary: £36,000 Annual Basic Salary + £4,000 Car Allowance

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the company's growth trajectory. Your primary responsibility is to identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing customer accounts. You will actively contribute to sales strategies, conduct market research, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge in acquiring new customers through targeted prospecting, outreach, and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute new customer acquisition strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for expanding relationships with existing clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the current client base to maximize account value.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to align business development initiatives with overall sales strategies.
  • Provide input on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Play a key role in driving initiatives to increase our market share
  • Analyse market data and customer feedback to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer concerns, collaborate on solutions, and serve as a point of escalation for complex issues.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and account management.
  • Provide information on agreed SLA's to Order Processing Manager and Group Operations Manager to ensure adherence to Customers' processes.

Skills required:

  • Proven track record in business development role, with a focus on customer expansion and new customer acquisition.
  • PC Literate with good experience of MS Office Excel and Word.
  • Excellent Communicator
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Flexible approach to work and able to commit to extra time where necessary that includes international travel to meetings and trade events.
  • Confident with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Able to self-motivate with strong drive for achieving targets.
  • Conscientious, committed to sales performance.
