SF Recruitment are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to manager many high-profile accounts within the Sheffield, Liverpool and Doncaster regions. This is a remote working role; however, all applicants must live in the northwest region as frequent travel to these clients will be required.

This is a full time, permanent role paying between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience with a £6,500 car allowance.

Job Description:
As an Area Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding their market presence in your assigned region. You will support the Managing Director in ensuring customer's needs and requirements are met throughout UK, ability to work under own set criteria to develop new and future customer opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of specific customers within a Geographical area.
  • Carry out presentations to Customers on their premises.
  • Undertake training presentations to all customers on our products when required.
  • Attend trade events for customers and trade exhibitions.
  • Follow up of Sales/Show/Advertising Leads.
  • Development of existing customers, introduction of new and additional product lines.
  • Development of new customer areas.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the designated area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Monitor and analyse sales data to make informed decisions and adjustments to achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to make informed business decisions.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Parts Sales or within the automotive industry would be advantageous.
  • Experience of dealing with customers.
  • Experience in identification of motor components would be beneficial
  • Ability to carry out Presentations.
  • Able to monitor Sales Performance
  • Proven experience in sales management, or key account management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
