Job Title: Account Handler
Salary: £35,000-£47,500 DOE
Location: Manchester City Centre

A well-established insurance broker are seeking 2 ambitious and hardworking Account Handlers to join their team on a permanent basis. Paying a salary between £35,000-£47,500 dependant on experience, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to further their career within a firm that truly believes in putting their customers first.

What will the roles involve?

  • Provide advice and excellent service to existing clients
  • Negotiating with clients and the insurance market to ensure the products meet their requirements
  • To retain clients and cross sell any additional cover
  • Reviewing products available for clients and tailoring them to clients needs
  • Provide claims guidance and advice where appropriate
  • Support client managers to ensure that client growth & retention targets are met
  • Responding to requests for new quotations, adjustments, and renewals
  • Ensure all client records are accurate and up to date on the company system
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded
  • Build and establish excellent, trusted relationships with clients
  • Adhere to FCA regulations at all times
  • Other duties as required.

Who would be the right fit?

  • Previous experience working within corporate insurance in a similar role
  • Highly professional with excellent communication skills
  • Commercial mindset
  • Willingness and desire to learn
  • Passion for the role and the industry
  • Relevant qualifications - Cert CII, Diploma in Insurance or ACII
  • Experience working with PE backed, tech, manufacturing or construction businesses would be highly advantageous
