The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to be part of an expanding team with a well-established business who provide engineering services into a wide range of sectors, with rail / rolling stock being a major area within the business.

Scope of role

- Oversee and complete the internal auditing process.
- Carry out external audits for customers or suppliers.
- Ensure the business remains compliant by carrying out annual ISO 9001 & 14001 audits.
- Work with the senior leadership team with quality based projects and documentation.
- Drive the businesses quality policies and targets.
- Oversee training (internal 7 external) is being completed and logged correctly for shop floor team members.
- Highlight training needs when required and assist with delivery of as and when relevant.
- Carry out quality inspection duties when the workload requires.

The Quality Assurance Manager

- Hold relevant quality accreditation / qualifications such as ISO internal auditor.
- Experienced devising quality assurance processes and delivering / implementing effectively.
- Experience holding a senior position within quality assurance.
- Can demonstrate positive leadership skill and the ability to lead by example.
- Has been involved in creating / developing /reviewing training programmes for shop floor team members.
