Network & IT Support Administrator
Our client is a global leader in their industry, offering the exciting environment where cutting-edge technology meets real-world impact. We are looking for a confident, independent, experienced Network & IT Support Administrator to join the team and support the Technical Manager on an interim basis.
Role: Network & IT Support Administrator (Fixed-Term Contract for 3 months with possibility of extension)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 14:00
Travel: Possible travel to Luxembourg (LUX) - Expenses paid
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Setting up and maintaining IT and digital communication systems, including wireless and LAN networks.
Staff Training: Training new staff on IT systems and communication policies.
Security and Maintenance: Installing and maintaining firewalls and networks (with a focus on Palo Alto and Cisco systems).
Technical Support: Providing tech support and assistance to employees.
Vendor Management: Collaborating with third-party providers to ensure network efficiency.
Telephony: Maintaining the company's phone system and ensuring active communication lines.
Project Management: Overseeing projects related to the IT infrastructure.
Skills and Qualifications:
Communication: Ability to convey technical information clearly & have good communication skills.
Teamwork and Individual Work: Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Customer Service: Skills needed for providing external support.
Problem-Solving: Strong logic and reasoning abilities.
Technical Expertise: Detailed knowledge of computer and IT systems.
Educational Background (Desired): Qualifications in computer sciences, communications, or mathematics.
Certifications: Cisco qualification or equivalent technical qualifications.
