The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, to work for a well-established global food production business based at their Preston site. Working as part of a team, your role will be a mixture of reactive, planned preventive maintenance and project work. The site is enjoying year on year investment with investment running's into the £10's millions

Responsibilities

- Electro / Mechanical fault finding techniques on automated food manufacturing machinery.
- Awareness of Production OEE's and strive to make improvements to the OEE's.
- H&S checks and equipment compliant, in place and working.
- Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, and ensure all tasks are carried out and/or recorded in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in projects as and when required.

Candidate Expectation

- Advanced level apprenticeship to HNC as a minimum
- Dual qualified / electrical / mechanical qualifications are all accepted!
- Ideally from a food / FMCG background with other fast paced manufacturing environments considered.
- Proactive mindset with the desire to add to the CI projects running on site
