Design Engineer

Design Engineer. We are looking for a Design Engineer for our client who are an energy infrastructure client. You will be responsible for various aspects of project management and engineering.

Design Engineer key responsibilities will include:
- AutoCAD: Proficiently create and manage AutoCAD drawings for fabrication and hydraulic schematics.
- Project Management: Take charge of the entire project lifecycle, from project planning to completion.
- Purchasing: Oversee the procurement of materials and components required for projects.
- Technical Specifications: Specify technical components for use in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality): Ensure projects comply with our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards.
- Project Oversight: Supervise and manage the construction and assembly of project components.
- Manuals and Inspection Reports: Produce comprehensive manuals and inspection reports for project deliverables.
- Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and pricing work scopes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is executed in accordance with PTS Services' QHSE systems.


Design Engineer Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Software: Proficiency in Solidworks for 2d/3d design and drafting.
- Project Engineering: A strong understanding of project engineering principles.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and awareness of mechanical and hydraulic solutions.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
